Kate and Matt join their lives in marriage at the romantic and charming Cypress House.

Two teachers from Central Pennsylvania, Kate and Matt impact many people in their daily lives. The beauty of this impact was felt during this spectacular wedding day where the two had the chance to celebrate their love while receiving love from so many in return.

Weddings will always be an act of community, but this one felt particularly connected to the community Katie and Matt have curated during their life together. The officiant was the bride’s brother Christopher, the music for the ceremony was played by her uncle, and I am also good friends with Kate through her brother (girlfriend privileges are getting extra siblings). It was an “all hands on deck day” and I’d give us all an A+.

The Cypress House in New Columbia Pennsylvania is an absolutely charming wedding venue. It has the rustic charm of an old brick farmhouse and is surrounded by the lush greens of Pennsylvania while sitting right off the Susquehanna river. Inside is absolutely decadent; Showcasing a crystal chandelier in the grand hallway, stunning woodwork throughout the home, and elegant antiques decorating every room, the home is gorgeous. Outside hosts a variety of places to hold your ceremony as well as a beautiful garden, a refreshing pool area, and the large reception tent. With all this and more, The Cypress House is perfect for your intimate and larger weddings.
